Join Sherri Conn for an Introduction to Kintsugi Workshop on Saturday 12th September at 11:30am to 2pm. Your ticket includes garden entry, tea/coffee and home baking and all materials for the workshop. Please bring a ceramic that can be broken on the day. Kintsugi is a centuries-old Japanese technique that repairs broken ceramics using lacquer dusted with powered gold. Rather than disguising the fractures, this method highlights the cracks, treating the breakage and repair as a beautiful and valued part of the objects history. Please register at the ticket desk on the day, then you are welcome to park in our overflow car park which is where our crafting space, The Bothy, is located.
