Kitsune & Kites - Storytelling & Craft Session (Family Friendly)
The Japanese Garden is home to magical creatures like the Kitsune (fox), Tanuki (raccoon bear) and more. At our stories and craft session you can hear their tales then make a koinobori fish kite (and more) to take home.
We’ll start with a walk around The Japanese Garden and hear stories told by renowned storytellers Lindsey Gibb and Mio Shudo. Then we’ll go into our beautiful Garden Pavilion to make Koinobori kites, pick up some colouring and try your hand at origami.
Booking is essential and Garden Entry tickets are required to attend this session. Suitable for any age! Please meet at the Ticket Desk to start this session.
Each session will last approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours.
