Handbuilding Ceramic Candle Holder Workshop
Join Eilidh from Crèadh Ceramics for a relaxed handbuilding workshop creating your own ceramic candle holder.
You’ll learn a range of handbuilding techniques, including slab building and coiling, before adding your own decorative details through carving, appliqué and colourful underglazes. No previous ceramics experience is needed, and you’ll be guided through the process from start to finish.
Perfect for the cosy nights ahead, or make a thoughtful handmade Christmas gift for a loved one.
Your finished piece will then be taken away to be fired and clear glazed and will be ready to collect from the Japanese Gardens approximately 3–4 weeks after the workshop.
Please note: Due to the nature of ceramics, all pieces must be taken away from the workshop for drying, glazing and firing. If you would like to receive your finished piece, please make sure you are able to collect your work from the Japanese Gardens once notified that it’s ready.
